A quick and easy Halloween charcuterie board featuring a sweet-salty-creamy-crunchy combo with candy corn as the star. Perfect for parties, movie nights, or last-minute gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4–6 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 4–6 ounces salami, sliced
  • 3–4 ounces capicola (optional)
  • 8-ounce wheel brie
  • 4–6 ounces aged cheddar, cubed
  • 4–6 ounces goat cheese log
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup chocolate-covered pretzels
  • 1 cup caramel popcorn
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • ½ cup roasted almonds
  • ¼ cup shelled pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • ½ cup dried apricots
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
  • 1 box assorted crackers
  • ½ baguette, sliced and lightly toasted

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Board (5 minutes): Place your board on a clean, dry surface. If using parchment, lay it down now and trim the edges. Set out small bowls for candy corn, caramel popcorn, almonds, and pumpkin seeds at the edges.
  2. Place the Cheeses (5 minutes): Unwrap the brie and place it whole in the center-left. Cube the aged cheddar into 1-inch pieces and arrange to the right of the brie. Slice the goat cheese log into ½-inch rounds and fan them out near the top edge. Let cheeses sit out for 20 minutes before arranging.
  3. Add the Meats (5 minutes): Fold prosciutto slices into loose ribbons and place near the brie. Fold salami slices in half twice to create small triangles and stack opposite the prosciutto. If using capicola, roll each slice into a tight cylinder and place separately.
  4. Fill in the Gaps with Crackers and Bread (3 minutes): Arrange crackers and baguette slices in small clusters around the edges of the board, leaving space between clusters.
  5. Position the Sweet Elements (3 minutes): Place the bowl of candy corn near the center close to the brie. Arrange chocolate-covered pretzels in a small pile near the cheddar. Place caramel popcorn in its own bowl on the opposite side.
  6. Add the Crunchy and Fresh Elements (4 minutes): Scatter roasted almonds and pumpkin seeds in small piles in empty spaces. Tuck green grapes in small clusters between cheese and meats. Arrange dried apricots near the candy corn bowl.
  7. Garnish and Final Adjustments (3 minutes): Tuck fresh rosemary sprigs around the edges. Fill any empty gaps with extra grapes, pretzels, or candy corn. Ensure the board looks full and generous.
  8. Serve (1 minute): Place cheese knives next to each cheese. Add small spoons to the bowls. Set the board out at room temperature and let guests dig in.

Notes

Let cheeses come to room temperature for best texture. Add candy corn just before serving to keep it crunchy. For a vegetarian version, double the cheese and add marinated artichoke hearts or roasted red peppers. For a vegan option, use dairy-free cheeses and ensure candy corn is vegan-friendly.
