This easy candy corn bark is a quick and simple Halloween treat made with white chocolate, pretzels, and candy corn. It’s a crowd-pleasing, salty-sweet snack that comes together in under 15 minutes of active time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • 1 cup mini pretzel twists
  • 1/2 cup candy corn
  • 1/4 cup Halloween sprinkles (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Have pretzels and candy corn measured and ready.
  2. Place white chocolate chips in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then stir. Repeat in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and fully melted (about 1 minute 30 seconds total). If chocolate seems thick, stir in 1 teaspoon coconut oil or shortening.
  3. Gently fold in mini pretzel twists with a spatula until evenly coated. Do not overmix.
  4. Pour the chocolate-pretzel mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread into an even layer, about 1/4-inch thick.
  5. Sprinkle candy corn evenly over the warm chocolate. Press them in gently with fingers or spatula. Add Halloween sprinkles if using.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes, or until chocolate is firm and no longer sticky. (For a quicker set, freeze for 10 minutes.)
  7. Once set, lift the bark off the parchment and break into irregular pieces. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.

Notes

White chocolate burns easily; melt in short intervals. For cleaner breaks, let bark set fully in the fridge. If chocolate seizes, stir in a teaspoon of warm coconut oil or heavy cream. Store at room temperature to avoid condensation.
